Vaporizer - 3 Song Demo

With a name like Vaporizer, you'd expect straight up stoner rock, or at least something in that neck of the woods. They describe themselves as "heady metal doom from beyond the 13th dimension", and although it's "heady", there isn't any doom to be found here. Instead, what you get is melodic death metal, straight from the woods of Vermont. The recording is a bit rough and trebly, but you get the general ideas. It's three tracks of mid-tempo melodic riffs with death metal vocals, goth inspired keyboard lines, and almost dance-able beats. Think KMFDM with a more death metal slant, and you're in the right ball park.

It's an interesting sound, and it'll be interesting to see where they go from this demo, which provides a good jumping off point, and I must add, has a really cool packaging for a demo.
